Hervé BRAILLY, PhD,
Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer, co-founder
Hervé Brailly, age 49, was previously a researcher at Immunotech SA, a biotechnology start up acquired in 1995 by Beckman-Coulter (1986-1994), and then in charge of marketing, business development and R&D, as well as the business activities in China (1994-1998). Beginning in 1998, Mr. Brailly was the director of a business unit of the company with 65 employees, with annual sales of 30 million U.S. dollars.
Hervé Brailly is also treasurer of BioCluster Eurobiomed which groups companies in life sciences and technologies together in the PACA region, a member of the Board of Directors of INSERM transfert and of France Biotech.
Hervé Brailly is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines de Paris (1983) and a Doctor of Immunology, with a specialization in immuno-pharmacology.
François ROMAGNÉ, PhD,
Chief Scientific Officer and member of the Executive Board, co-founder
François Romagné, age 47, is an Engineering graduate of the Institut National Agronomique Paris Grignon, a Doctor (Ph.D.) of Immunology. Mr. Romagné has devoted his entire career to translational research in immunology in the areas of T cell immunology and innate immunity.
Before founding Innate Pharma, Mr. Romagné held various positions in research and development at the biotechnology company Immunotech, with its last position at Immunotech SA (Beckman-Coulter) being as the R&D manager of a business unit.
His scientific work at Immunotech gave him the opportunity to establish the long-term working relationships with the other scientific founders of Innate Pharma, which finally led to the creation of our Company.
CATHERINE MOUKHEIBIR, MA, MBA,
Senior Advisor Finance and member of the Executive Board
Catherine Moukheibir, age 51, joined the Company in 2011 to take charge of the financial strategy.
Prior to joining Innate Pharma, Mrs Moukheibir was CFO of Movetis, a Belgian biotech company (from 2008 to 2010), for which she led the IPO on Euronext Brussels and then the acquisition by Shire. Previously, she was Director Capital Markets at Zeltia (from 2001 to 2007), a Spanish biopharma and consumer chemicals group, where she led financial strategy.
Before joining Zeltia, she was Executive Director Investment Banking with Salomon Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley (from 1997 to 2000).
Marcel ROZENCWEIG, MD,
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Rozencweig, age 65, is recognized as a world leading expert and opinion leader in medical oncology and anti-cancer drug development. He built and led the clinical research group at Bristol-Myers Squibb (“BMS”) that developed all the NCEs brought by BMS to the market from 1983 to 2001 in the area of cancer (including carboplatin and paclitaxel).
Under his leadership, a total of 17 marketing applications (NDAs or sNDAs1) were successfully filed by BMS in the area of cancer, HIV and infectious diseases.
Before joining the industry, Dr. Rozencweig pursued an academic career and currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at New York University, NY. He created and chaired a number of European groups (EORTC) devoted to multinational drug-oriented and disease-oriented trials (e.g., Early Clinical Trials Group).
Dr. Rozencweig is a medical doctor, graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, in Belgium.
Jérôme TIOLLIER, PhD,
Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer
Jérôme Tiollier, age 51, joined Innate in September 2001. Dr. Tiollier is a graduate of the University of Lyon and holds a doctorate in cellular biology and immunology.
He previously worked at IMEDEX SA, a division of the Institut Mérieux (1986-1997), before joining the business unit IMTIX Transplant of Pasteur Mérieux (acquired by SANGSTAT in 1998) in the position of Director of Pre-clinical development (1997-1999) and Director of Research and Development Europe (1999-2001). In this latter position, he managed pharmaceutical projects (including Thymoglobuline and Antilfa) and was involved in the Group's medication research activities.
Yannis MOREL, PhD,
Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer
Yannis Morel, age 37, joined Innate in December 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he has been in R&D positions, from scientist in the immunology team to team manager, and finally responsible for research programs. Since 2007, he is in charge of the business developement of the company.
Mr Y. Morel holds a PhD in oncology (from Aix-Marseille University), is an alumnus of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, with a background education in physical and molecular chemistry (Bs).
