The indications targeted by our drug candidates correspond to areas of considerable unmet medical needs. We have decided to focus our clinical development effort mainly on the oncology field. The mechanisms of action which we work on, however, make it possible to envisage other indications, notably chronic inflammation, for which Innate Pharma will seek partners early in the drug candidates’ development. 

The markets targeted by our products in oncology indications alone are very significant and we are positioned in the rapidly expanding sector of anti-cancer immunotherapy. Due to our original scientific approach and our intellectual property portfolio, we believe we enjoy a strong competitive position in a large, rapidly growing market.

Based on its research and development expertise, Innate Pharma aims at becoming a major player in the emerging field of anti-cancer immunotherapy. In the short term, the Company intends to sign partnerships with players in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry with the financial capacity and the expertise to run advanced clinical trials as well as a selling network and experience. In the long run, the Group intends to become an integrated player and thus intends to keep some marketing rights on some of its products.
