Overall Objectives and Purpose of the role
Within the Compliance & Operations Division, and reporting to the VP, Compliance & Operations, you will be responsible for the Company's information systems. Your mission will be to support the evolution of the Company by equipping the organization and the processes in an appropriate way, in line with the strategy and the objectives of the company, and in compliance with the regulations in force. You will be responsible for the integrity, confidentiality and reliability of the information systems and the implementation of processes and technologies that comply with applicable regulatory requirements.


Main responsibilities and key tasks
Proposal and implementation of the Company's Global Information System & Technology policy

  • You will propose to the Management a fully compatible global information system and technology policy in line with the Company's strategy and objectives, taking into account IT security elements and the regulatory framework.
  • You will be involved in the process of evaluation and management of risks related to the information system, notably by guaranteeing the continuity of activity and service as well as the reliability of information flows (especially financial) and data flows (including scientific and technical data), from their generation / acquisition to their archiving.
Development and maintenance of information systems

  • In a constantly evolving field, you will be able to anticipate the needs of technological evolutions which will allow supporting the evolutions of the Company, while remaining pragmatic and rational.
  • You will analyze the strengths, weaknesses and dysfunctions of the information system and propose corrections and improvements.
IT project portfolio management

  • You will lead the Information System and IT project portfolio steering committee.
  • As such, you will ensure that projects are planned and documented in accordance with the Company's current decision-making processes, budget process and organization.
  • You will also manage structuring and transversal IT projects, such as, for example, the deployment of an ERP, the implementation of project management tools.
  • You will accompany users to changes related to the implementation and evolution of IT tools.
Definition, documentation and implementation of processes
  • You will define a documented change management process within the information system department and ensure that it is implemented in line with company driven timelines.
Functional administration of cross-functional management tools

  • You will implement the Company's changes in terms of organization and product portfolio within the transversal management tools (Electronic Document Management, ERP ...).
  • You will be the referent of functional "business" process owners (Finance, HR ...) as regards IT tools.
Management & Communication

  • You will manage the Information Technology team currently composed of 7 people.
  • You will maintain, train and develop the skills of the members of the Information System department, and develop an environment of personal growth opportunities.
  • You will interact transversally with the different departments of the company and will communicate and update them regularly on projects impacting them, identifying risks and solutions.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Master degree / Engineer
  • 5-10-year experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a constraint environment, such as Sarbanes-Oxley, 21CRF part 11
  • GDPR
  • Knowledge of ERPs, eDMS, HRIS
  • Managing teams
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical / biotech company
  • Knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign (ERP) and VDOC (Electronic Document Management System, portal, intranet, workflow engine)
