Overall Objectives and Purpose of the role

In a growing company, you will join the Finance & Corporate Department (3 persons), reporting to the Manager, Accounting, you play a key role in the completion of the day to day Accounting activities and during the monthly and quarterly closings.
This role requires a dynamic, rigorous, curious and energetic person with a strong integrity and ethics approach, with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and reliability, who can represent the Accounting team with professionalism - interacting with peers, colleagues, and corporate executives.



Main responsibilities and key tasks

To perform some specific tasks and activities on a day to day basis:
  • Preparation and booking of customers' invoices
  • Recording of suppliers' invoices and employees expenses report
  • Reconciliation invoices/purchase order and allocation to analytical projects
  • Preparation of the suppliers' payment wire transactions
  • Management of the fixed assets' process
  • Cleansing of the items identified in the bank reconciliations
To participate to the monthly closings of the two French entities:
  • Follow up of the orders, the percentage of completion and the invoicing from the suppliers
  • Percentage of completion review (long term contract accounting principle)
  • Closing booking such as prepaid expenses and accrued invoices or accrual 

Experience and Qualifications
  • Bac 2+ or equivalent. The equivalent of the same in practical experience is also acceptable
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or within FMCG industry is an advantage
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities
  • Experienced in working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation

Technical Competencies:
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles in application
  • Ability to use an ERP, ideally SAP Business ByDesign
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office software (Word, Power Point, etc.)
